On Thursday 2 May, we launched Her Majesty: 21 stories by women , an anthology of 'strong, beautifully written' fiction. This isn' t a book about the Queen, but it is a book about jubilation.
The party atmosphere was one of celebration, vitality and camaraderie, reflecting the spirit of Her Majesty . The crowd was treated to snippets from eight of the authors- which revealed just some of the 'dizzying scope' of this 'superb' anthology. After which, authors, editors, friends and family cavorted at Darwin's into the early hours, to the amusement of the pub's regulars.
